2009-10 Season
This is the 50th anniversary season for the Franchise that came into existence in the American Football League as one of the “Original Eight” teams. Look for the Raiders to play against the other “Original Eight” this season in AFL throwback uniforms. The pickup of three receivers in the draft should help JaMarcus Russell find open targets. Raider Nation expects nothing less than a return to the playoffs and Owner Al Davis is, I’m sure, insisting on it.

2008-09 Season
The Raiders franchise looked to improve on their 4-12 2007 record and did so by exactly one game, going 5-11 in 2008. Head Coach Lane Kiffin was fired on October 1st and was replace with interim coach Tom Cable who was made the 17th Head Coach on February 3rd of 2009
